What You Can Do

There are many ways to help the cause of freethought!

Report problems

If you become aware of any instance of government promotion of religion, contact us via the web!

Keep an eye out for religion-government entanglement

Watch school board and city council meetings. Either attend in person or watch on cable television. If you regularly watch a particular meeting, let us know so we don't duplicate effort.

Sign the Wall

Write letters to the editor

Respond to a negative letter or article, or write one about whatever's on your mind. Let the rationalist point of view be heard and let people know we exist. Remember to: Florida Today - They will contact you to confirm your letter.

Distribute freethought literature

Putting our brochures in local libraries is a great way to reach freethinkers! Just print out copies of our brochure and ask the people behind the counter if you can place them with other brochures in the library. Let us know where you've put them so we don't duplicate effort.

Adopt-a-Classroom
Sabal Elementary School needs a new Science Resource Room, and we want to make sure they get one. After all, what better way is there to encourage critical thinking than by teaching science?

Their teacher, Ms. Episcopo, says, "We are adding a Science Resource Room to our Title 1 school because we would like a more hands-on, experiment based approach to the Scientific method. Because of the low socioeconomic group of students at Sabal, many of our students do not have access to items or experiences to enable them to succeed on the Science FCAT. We're hoping through the students' use of the Science Resource Room to see an increase in the Performance Task Items on the 5th grade Science FCAT which was 3.28 out of 10. This score was lower than all other schools in the area. It was also lower than the average 4.3."
